Superseded name. The role now named [Trainer] under the [Controlled-Volume Training] vocabulary update. “Area Lead” and “Area Trainer” collided on the stage once “Area” was dropped in casual use, so both role names were shortened — [Area Lead] became [Lead], [Area Trainer] became [Trainer] — removing the ambiguity while preserving the audit-not-manage distinction between the two roles.

See [Lead] and [Trainer] for the current locked entries. This superseded form is kept on file because older workshop material still references “Area Trainer” by name; all such references resolve to [Trainer] going forward, per the vocabulary-update lock.
